What Hope Looks Like

Have you noticed?

I have.

Walking down the street, there’s a lightness in people’s steps. They’re smiling more than they were a week ago.

America’s high.

High on hope. High on change.

On that note, I’d like to share something. My friend and coworker Danielle sent me photos from a rally for Barack Obama that exemplify the hope that we’re all feeling right now.

I know what you mean by “What Hope Looks Like!” There is a jump in people’s step, there are more smiles than normal..absolutely. I especially see that here in Chicago.

I was at the Grant Park Rally and posted a YouTube video with highlights from the event from my vantage point, including when CNN announced Obama had won the presidency. I’d encourage you to check it out..feel free to embed it on your site as part of this post! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3_Matfe1cc

there certainly is a lot of hope. but still a lot of concern. we are in such a bad way the light at the end is unseeable. everyone has got to keep the ‘feeling of hope’ going and start acting on it to get things accomplished.
